Looking back on the things I wrote about 10 years ago makes me understand how fortunate I was to write about how much I liked or disliked bees or my passion for Pokemon etc. The idea of a blog was brought up by my dad. It was actually quite a good idea as now I am able to laugh and enjoy the content I posted a decade ago.
A lot has changed over the decade. I have matured (I guess) and am currently in the middle of the Summer holiday after my first year at Oxford University.
Currently, Hong Kong is in a political crisis in which the government is not doing anything to withdraw the Extradition Bill which is alienating the public. On Sunday at Yuen Long, people wearing white shirts assumed to be triads were seen beating up normal citizens and protesters. Police delayed their approach to this political scene to the dismay of many citizens.
I hope this blog will be able to survive for longer, even if I haven't posted in 8 years. There is so much to look forward to in the second year of Oxford. I may even do this daily.... :P
